Posting Guidelines

This an open public forum for the exchange of information, ideas and opinions. Censorship is undesirable; Civil discourse is required. Please, always be courteous and respectful. We won’t always agree, but we can agree to disagree is a neighborly fashion.

Anybody can post a comment or opinion. Simply click on the “comments” link at the bottom of the article or news item you wish to respond to.

Members of the SGNA Board, local elected officials, and designated committee representatives have been granted privileges to post articles and news items to this site.

Elected officers of SGNA have administrative authority to edit articles and news items, as well as the responsibility to edit or delete public comments which are considered grossly inappropriate or violate any of the following prohibitions:

1. No foul language or profanity allowed.
2. No personal attacks against any individual or group.
3. Comments from local elected officials or candidates for public office are welcome and encouraged, but this site is not intended for political campaign purposes.
4. This site is not intended to serve as a vehicle for commercial advertising; but PR for local area events and non-profit organizations is welcome.
5. Non sequitur remarks or comments not relating to the corresponding posted article or news item may be deleted.

Other rules may be added as deemed necessary by SGNA.
